Our neighborhoods are as welcoming and diverse as the people.

Marquette Homes

In the heart of town you'll find the east side historic district with its grand Victorian and Gothic homes overlooking the Lower Harbor. Well-kept century-old clapboard, twenties Mission-style and forties bungalow houses are comfortably clustered around the hospital, university, downtown and the Village business district. Also on the east side, just a few blocks from Marquette General Hospital is a development of newly constructed condominiums and townhouses, some of which offer lake views of the Picnic Rocks beach area.

Many homes in the Summits, a ten-year-old neighborhood in south Marquette, also offer sweeping views of Superior, acres of tree-lined yards and high-quality, spacious living.

Along the southeastern side of Marquette's Iron Bay, just a short drive from town, you'll find many homes on the beach, where you can watch the city lights sparkle at night. Along the way, you'll find wooded and gently rolling hills, with fine ranch homes and swimming pools. Set on a cliff above majestic Lake Superior, elegant homes overlook nature's spectacular, ever-changing watershow.

If you spend as much time on the links as at home, why not live alongside a golf course? Homes adjoining two golf courses are within minutes of the hospital.

The value for your dollar is considerably greater here than in larger metropolitan markets, where the costs per square foot are two or three times higher. There is so much you don't have to worry about in Marquette: commuting, traffic jams, panhandlers, violent crime. Children can safely play in the yard or ride their bikes around town. Everything is convenient and close. The quality of air, of water, of life here is unsurpassed.
